Casa Opuntia Bed & Breakfast - Puerto Baquerizo Moreno

Location is superb, just a short walk to the harbor. Breakfast is good, with made-to-order omelettes and fresh fruit. The staff is attentive, helping us with taxi arrangements and accommodating early breakfasts. The rooms are spacious and clean. The downside was no hot water in the shower and the Wi-Fi struggled to reach the rooms. For families, the shared fridge could use an upgrade since it locks up at night.

the room was big size and airy and there were air conditioning, a safe, and a study table. location: the hotel was very close to shops, restraurants and boats as well as boats typically leave for snorkeling tours and diving tours. it also was very close to downtown.

Reasonably spacious and bright room plus air conditioner, a personal safe, and a work desk.

amazing, amazing, amazing

The views from my triple room with sea view were amazing, overlooking the beautiful harbor and vibrant sea life! I loved the outdoor breakfast area, where the staff provided us with a good selection of fresh fruit, yogurt, and eggs each morning. The location right next to Playa de Oro was unbeatable, and we thoroughly enjoyed taking dip in the indoor swimming pool after exploring the island.

Quiet and perfect room which had tea, coffee and it's own balcony. Satisfactory breakfasts with undrinkable instant coffee and a wonderful view of the water, the staff were all in all nice. The service here was friendly!

It's a stunningly beautiful hotel with excellent stuff and wonderful views of the ocean.

In room two, a lack of modern amenities like a desk made it difficult to prepare for excursions. Shower pressure was disappointingly low, and a distinct musty odor inside suggested needed refurbishments. Rusty shampoo containers and broken tiles in the bathroom added to the need for maintenance, while the absence of hangers made organization a chore.

What a paradise! The sea view from my balcony was amazing, and the two swimming pools made for a lovely retreat. The staff were friendly, even sharing stories about their local yogurt! I'd come back again in a heartbeat, although I wish the hot water had been adjustable during chilly evenings.

The location is perfect, just a staircase from the beach. The shower pressure was disappointingly low, making it frustrating.

The sea view was amazing, but the wifi hardly worked in the room.

The hotel is nice, and has free Wi-Fi in public areas, a lovely indoor swimming pool, and friendly staff. They even helped return my forgotten belongings during my first visit. I highly recommend this spot for a relaxing time. I'm returning for a romantic escape!

a charming stay with great breakfast and lovely sea view

The location is perfect with an excellent view. The service is attentive, breakfast is flexible, and we enjoyed relaxing on the terrace with a hammock.

Casa Opuntia was perfect for our stay! The view from our room was fine, looking over the harbor and the playful sea lions. The outdoor breakfast area was lovely, and the staff went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience, even accommodating our early departures with breakfast. The spacious room and comfortable bed made it a relaxing getaway.

Just a smart choice for a short visit in Puerto Baquerizo Moreno with all in all great value for money. The bathroom was a bit outdated, but the friendly staff quickly replaced the missing smoke detector we noticed upon arriving. Ensure to check amenities upon entering your room to avoid surprises.
